O movimento pop-punk tem feito um verdadeiro sucesso, principalmente nas redes sociais, como o TikTok. Pensando nisso, a Billboard divulgou uma lista do 21 Under 21.
Entre os nomes estão Chase Hudson, mais conhecido pelo nome artístico LILHUDDY, que faz sucesso entre o público jovem da plataforma. Chase estreou com o single “21st Century Vampire“, em janeiro deste ano e já fez parcerias com nomes como Travis Barker e Tyson Ritter, vocalista da banda All-American Rejects. Já em setembro, Chase lançou o disco “Teenage Heartbreak“.
Outro nome divulgado foi o de Charlton Kenneth, mais conhecido como The Kid LAROI. Ele viralizou no TikTok com o single “WITHOUT YOU“. O sucesso foi tanto que rendeu a Charlton um lugar na Billboard Hot 100, além de uma parceria com Miley Cyrus.
Olivia Rodrigo também está na lista de artistas do pop-punk. Conhecida pelo sucesso “Drivers License“, a artista ainda lançou o segundo single, intitulado de “Good 4 u“, trazendo uma forte influência de pop-punk.
